Love Biscuits

Had a great time at the thrift stores today. Especially nice were a couple of old cookbooks which I always love to find - The Country Womens Association of New South Wales Coronation Cookery Book and the Xcel Cookery Book - both of which look to be pre-World War Two to me judging from the advertisements in them. Best of all, though, they have handwritten recipes dotted throughout them. This is something I really love to find - recipes that someone found particularly good or which they particularly loved - recipes that have a story.
