This beautiful Berggren breadboard at The Travelling Owl ~ http://www.etsy.com/shop/wyoupcycler?ref=pr_shop_more
I love folk art and lately have developed a taste for the Scandinavian Berggren style. As ever, Etsy is a dangerous place for me to be...
Happily though, I found some sweetly pretty Russian pieces to add to my collection while thrifting today.

I really love that scandi stuff too. I saw a post recently talking about hex's warding off symbols, which look similar to a couple of those things you pictured here (its a great blog in general too)http://raesock.blogspot.com/2011/10/collection-4-dutch-hex-signs.html
Thanks for the link, Max. I've read a little bit about the hex signs but this looks really interesting :)
Argh! Why are all of them so pretty?!? Hey you're some kind of bad company if I'm trying to be thrifty. :P
Heehee...I'm a bad influence, Stardust :)
