Dream, Dream, Dream...

Has anyone ever had prophetic dreams? I think I had one last night or, at least, if not prophetic then clearly pretty symbolic. Actually I'm just not sure what to think! And of course you always get to the point of thinking 'Hey, it was just a dream'. My grandmother was psychic and had a number of prophetic dreams in which people who had died came back to her with messages. They even led her to some hidden money once! I am not claiming psychic powers but I would be interested in your opinions.

Everything is possible. I had two very "strange" dreams in live, one with my dead father and another with a friend I visited.

Much more dreams seem to have a deeper meaning, maybe it is like this in some psychological way, but not in a prophetic one...

Tapping into subconscious thoughts in some way, perhaps?

In my family we have a long tradition of writing down and discussing our dreams. I had and have a lot of prophetic dreams. It goes from little prophecies that tell me that a certain person will soon have a new work for me up to real "big" things, such as the death of someone. And of course, the dreams are one of the medium I use to stay in touch with JFK.
Over the years, I learned to distinct the dreams by their nature. Because there are of course some dreams that are simply "mind trash" and others that are psychological hints. A lot of them are inspirations for new stories, too. But some are prophetic and others are deeply spiritual.
especially the latter can make a deep impression for a long time. I guess you had this kind of dream.

Wow, that's really amazing, Diana. I'm really not sure what to make of my dream, but I dreamt of a large group of crows. I tried to shoo them away but they would only move slightly and not leave altogether. I interpret this dream as being about death. What do you think?

Ravens are for death. Crows can be related to that, too of course. Crows often stands for noise, trouble and a lot of fuzz over silly things. But I have to know the whole context of the dream. Was it all you see in this dream? Or were thee other things? Is it the first time you dreamt about Crows or where there other recently?
Did the crows treat you or where you just annoyed by their presence?
Where you outside or inside a room?

Important thing is to write the dream down, as exactly as you remember it with date and moon phase. Its meaning may be revealed to you later and then you can check back. This way, you learn to interpret your personal symbolical language better and better.

Thanks Diana. I'm not sure if they were crows or ravens but there was a large number of them pecking at the floor in a light-filled, white-tiled room which I didn't recognise. I was either annoyed or slightly threatened by them and I tried to shoo them away and they sort of moved ever so slightly backwards as if to say 'Let her think we're going - but we're not.' That scene was all I saw. I dreamt it on the night of the full moon.

Hm, then it could have to something with death, especially because of the white tiled room. But that doesn't necessarly mean that someone will die, it CAN of course. Was there are recent loss in your surrounding?

I once dreamt that a crowd of ravens attacked my mom, it was outside on a field. I was terrified, because I feared that something could happen to her. Well, she lost her Job, a job she really loved and that was kind of a death, for it took her really something to get over it.
So you see, "death" can be in many vaiations.

Ok. I feel I am in a period of change and have been for some time - perhaps this may be the "death"? Thanks Diana.
