In the Summertime

The lemons are slowly going yellow...

The very old hydrangea battles on...

No one can remember what this is but it's pretty and smells nice...

Lettuce in my husband's veggie patch doing well...

But only with the help of improvised possum barriers (an old birdcage)...

Our very own cornfield...

And finally, a praying mantis who has taken a real liking to the green beaded curtain hanging at the top of the back steps...

Looks like Matricaria odorata (Fewerfew) to me. If so, you can drink it as tea, it's very healthy ;-)

Feverfew was my first thought, too. Good against migraine.

Excellent! Thank you. I do remember planting feverfew some time ago, actually...I am not always the most attentive gardener!! :)

Hey Feronia!

Thank you for the message left. :)

I'm excited by the lovely climate you have there, summer is exciting! That's some proud looking lettuce there!

That white flower may be Chamomile?
